We have a winner!

The first-ever KC Classic TBayTel Epic Shootout Video Contest has come to a close, and wow, what a finish it was!

It was a battle right to the end, with both the KC Whalers and the PA Westfort Maroons rallying the troops, and calling on everyone they knew to help them cross the finish line in first place.  It was a seesaw battle all day and night on Friday, with the Whalers' Luke Droll edging out a hard charging Jackson Pucci from the Maroons by a nose.  The final count at midnight on Friday was 301-298, but it was literally down to the wire.  Had the deadline been minutes later, the order might have been reversed!

Congrats to our winner, Luke Droll, and his team...the KC Whalers will be attending the Thunder Bay Fighting Walleye game on January 12th, and Luke will be the flag bearer skating with the Walleye during the warmup.  We should mention that, in an ironic twist, Luke's video was actually submitted by the manager of the Maroons!  What a great display of sportsmanship!! :)

Jackson Pucci won't be going home empty-handed...he will also get a chance to be a flag bearer at an upcoming Fighting Walleye home game. :)

A HUGE thanks to everyone who submitted their shootout videos...we hope you had as much fun watching them as we did.
