Congratulations to the Longlac Timberwolves!!

They captured the TBayTel Epic Shootout in thrilling fashion, defeating the PA Westfort Maroons 5-3 in the Championship final!

With the Shootout being a double elimination format this year, the Timberwolves had a chance to close it out earlier, only to be denied in sudden death overtime by the Maroons, who scored on the final shooter to secure a come-from-behind 6-5 win, handing Longlac their first loss of the night.

The KC Whalers finished in third place on the night, dropping a hard-fought semi-final to the Maroons after a valiant run.

Congrats to all the kids on a great effort tonight, and thanks to the Thunder Bay Fighting Walleye for coming out to help the evening run smoothly on the ice!
