KC Sportop Sabres win the Robins PWAA Tournament!

Congratulations go out to the KC Sportop PWAA Sabres, who won the Robins Tournament this weekend! 

The Sabres had finished in second place in a tightly contested round robin pool with a 1-2-1 record, in order to qualify for the playoffs.  They faced the Elks 82's in the semifinals, eking out a 2-1 win to move on to the finals, where they would face the West End Bruins.  The Bruins had beaten them in the round robin portion of the tournament, so the Sabres went in to the final seeking not only the title, but also to avenge the earlier loss.

Mission accomplished for the Sabres, as they came out on top in a thrilling 3-1 win.  Great job by all the players and staff...well done!!
