KC Sabres are the Robins Tournament Peewee AA Champs!!

The KC Peewee AA Sabres capped off a great weekend at the 44th Annual Robins Tournament by bringing home the championship trophy!

The Sabres went 3 and 1 in round robin play, finishing third in the seven-team pool, leading to a semifinal matchup with the Westfort Rangers.  The Sabres would emerge victorious in the semifinal, with a hard-fought 5-4 win.  This would lead to a showdown in the championship final against the Elks 82's, who were the only team to defeat the Sabres in the round robin.

The Sabres would exact revenge in the final, persevering in a nailbiter of a game to win 2-1, bringing home the championship trophy in the process!
