Hello hockey families! School is almost over...camps are open...birds are singing, insects are biting...if all this doesn't get you excited for hockey season, we don't know what will! ;)
That said, we're happy to announce that registration for U7-U13 programs for the 2024/25 season is now open. See below for information!
U15-U18 registration is done through Thunder Bay Minor Hockey Association, and opens on June 23rd
here.
We are excited to announce the opening of our player registration for the upcoming 2024/2025 season!
Volunteers from all NINE PAMHA MEMBER CLUBS have worked hard over the last few weeks to bring together a combined registration offering that covers the entire city of Thunder Bay and rural surrounding areas. We are excited to offer these programs to our hockey community and are looking forward to an exciting season ahead.

Because all player profiles have been merged into one database,
all players who were a member of any of the PAMHA, Westfort, Elks, Norwest or KC teams last season can access their profile at the provided link.

Players who were members of another team last season may be registered with us by emailing our Registrar Team at
registration@pamha.ca . Please include your players full name and date of birth. We will get back in touch with you quickly to complete the TRANSFER process.
Costs:
We are working as hard as possible to contain the costs of delivering hockey programming for all players, with costs for everything from ice time, to uniforms, to off ice activities all increasing we are continually looking for ways to reach greater efficiency, and the collaboration of all nine PAMHA Members allows for the best opportunity to share resources and deliver the best value to our hockey families. As with every year, there will be an upfront payment required during the registration process:
Our 2024/2025 Registration/Deposit costs are as follows:
U7: Registration cost is $360 – There will be no additional costs for this division.
U9 – Registration cost is $500 – There can be up to a maximum of $300 in additional team fees for a total cost of $800 for this division.
U11A – Registration cost is $500 – There will be additional team fees depending on the budget for each team. Detailed budgets will be shared with parents after the teams are drafted and season plans are finalized.
U11AA – Registration cost is $550 – All players participating in the LMHL AA evaluation and drafts will be subject to a $50 AA tryout fee, included in this price. There will be additional team fees depending on the budget for each team. Detailed budgets will be shared with parents after the teams are drafted and season plans are finalized.
U13A – Registration cost is $500 – There will be additional team fees depending on the budget for each team. Detailed budgets will be shared with parents after the teams are drafted and season plans are finalized.
U13AA – Registration cost is $550 – All players participating in the LMHL AA evaluation and drafts will be subject to a $50 AA tryout fee, included in this price. There will be additional team fees depending on the budget for each team. Detailed budgets will be shared with parents after the teams are drafted and season plans are finalized.
City-Wide U7 and U9 Programs:
All Nine PAMHA member clubs are excited to be able to bring U7 and U9 Programs to our entire city and rural areas. We will be offering U7 and U9 Programs at the following arenas:
Thunder Bay North
U7 – Grandview Arena
U9 – Grandview Arena and Current River Arena
Thunder Bay South
U7 – Delaney Arena and Thunder Bay Tournament Centre
U9 – Delaney Arena and Thunder Bay Tournament Centre
Thunder Bay Rural
U7 – Norwest Arena
U9 – Norwest Arena
During the registration process you will be asked to select your preferred location.
The same programming will be offered at each arena, giving hockey families the ability to choose locations that best suit their needs.
Highlights of our U7 Program are:
· 40 Ice Times (twice per week)
· 2 Jamborees
· Follow Hockey Canada – Player Development Pathway
Highlights of our U9 Program are:
· Minimum of 40 Ice Times
· Each Location will have Aluminum Rink Divider Boards for proper player development and playing areas.
· 3 Jamborees
· Follow Hockey Canada Player Development Pathway
· Position Specific Training for Goaltenders wanting to try the position, delivered by certified goaltending coaches from Wildfire Goaltending
U11 and U13 Age Divisions:
Our U11 and U13 divisions will be drafted on a city-wide basis for the upcoming season. All nine PAMHA member clubs are committed to collaboratively sharing resources including ice, coaching, equipment and shared development opportunities across all divisions. By moving to this draft format, we will ensure that we will create equity in all divisions to provide the most competitive development environment for all players.
